Lohmann Prizes 2012
Six undergraduates were recently recognized for excellence in printing and design. The principal prize was shared by Peter Beck '12 of Morse College for his letterpress book, Cow, and Julia Lemle '12 of Trumbull College for the digital body of work she submitted, which included the two most recent issues of the Yale Literary Magazine. Honorable mentions went to Cindy Hwang ’15 of Berkeley College for posters promoting the Haas Family Arts Library’s volvelle collection; Samantha Broussard-Wilson ’12 of Ezra Stiles College for her letterpress and linoleum-print book, Lakota Creation Myth; Rachel Perfecto ’15 of Saybrook College for her letterpress piece, Pale Blue Dot; and Rachel Needle ’13 of Branford College for her setting of Gay Talese’s 1966 article “Frank Sinatra Has a Cold.”
